Danya He is a Research Assistant at the Swiss School of Public Governance (SSPG) at the ETH Zurich, where she contributes to the SSPG's research projects and focuses particularly on management simulations and serious games in the SSPG’s continuing education portfolio.

Before joining the SSPG, Danya worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Zurich with a focus on media and internet governance. Furthermore, she gained experience in public institutions including the Press and Information Office of the Federal Government of Germany, the Center for Digitisation of the Bavarian State Government, and the Health Committee of the German Parliament. Her previous stages include the media relations department of a leading international medtech company, the legal department of an international publishing group, and one of Germany's leading law firms for media law and intellectual property. As both participant and tutor, she engaged in several educational simulations, winning the Outstanding Delegation- and Best Position Paper-Award at the National Model United Nations (NMUN) Conference (2017 and 2018).

Danya holds a master's degree in Media and Communication Governance (Distinction, Winner of Excellence) from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a bachelor's degree in Communication Science from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University (LMU) Munich. She is an alumna of the German Academic Scholarship Foundation (Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes).
